Rick's Ice Cream!

Sophia says:  Hello Readers! Today is the last day of school, so my mom took us out to ice cream. The ice cream store we went to is called Rick's Ice Cream. It is a very cute place. I ordered marble fudge ice cream. When the man behind the counter gave me my ice cream, he said it was a little soft, but it was still very yummy. They were very nice. I would come back.

Josh says: Today we went to the ice cream store. I got cotton candy ice cream. It was good! The man who served me ice cream was really nice.  I would totally come back.

Jodie says: Today was a special day because its the last day of school and the start of summer vacation! Going to Rick's Ice Cream was a great way to celebrate. There were 2 people behind the counter when we walked in and they were both extremely friendly and welcoming. I wasn't sure what to get and one person there recommended the salty caramel flavor. It was delicious! We had small scoops which looked like double scoops on the cone. They have a big room in the back with plently of seating and it's air conditioned which is nice because today is a hot day. Highly recommended!

Happi House!

Sophia says: Tonight we went to Happi House! It is a Japanese restaurant but you can also get a cheeseburger and french fries there. Today is Sunday and on Sunday kids get to eat for free. When we got there we ordered at the counter and the waitress gave us a number.  Then we picked a cute booth to sit at. I ordered a cheeseburger with french fries and apple juice. It took awhile for them to call our number. But when we got it, it looked good. My burger and french fried tasted good. Happi House is no ordinary restaurant, you get your napkins, forks, spoons, chopsticks, ketchup and other things at the counter. When we were leaving, they gave my brother and I each a balloon. I liked it but I wouldn't come back right away.

Josh says: Tonight we went to Happi House. It looks like In and Out Burger on the inside. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. It tasted really good because I like cheese. The service was great but we had to get everything ourselves. Our booth was clean. I asked the man for 2 balloons for me and my sister when we left. I accidentally popped Sophia's and I tied mine and I couldn't get it out. I was sad. I would come back to this restaurant because it's good.

Paul says: I had the beef terryaki and it was delicious. It was very thinly sliced and very juicy. I have never been there before and I would definitely go back because it is a great value. When I left Happi House I was happy.

Jodie says: We made a last minute decision to go to Happi House because we wanted something quick and easy and kids eat free from a list of kid's meals on Sunday if you purchase an adult meal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when we came in. I ordered the vegetable tempura meal and it came with rice and chinese style chicken salad.  It was actually pretty good. I don't think it's the healthiest place to eat but they are very kid friendly and we had a fun time. Dinner for the 4 of us came to just under $20 - I was happy too!

Tsunami Sushi!

Sophia says: Tonight we went to Tsunami Sushi. When we got there, the waitress showed us to a table. We were the first ones there. It is a Japanese restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and she smiled a lot. There were also a lot of decorations on the walls. I ordered apple juice and the kids meal terryaki bento box. The service was very fast and soon some people came in for dinner. My food was very good and the tables were very very clean. When we were done with dinner, our waitress brought us 4 slices of watermelon for dessert. It was a freebie and it was also a nice thing to do. I would definitely come back.

Josh says:  Tonight we went to a sushi restaurant. When we walked in, the waitress brought us to our table. The restaurant was nice and clean. They had really nice decorations. I ordered chicken terryaki and apple juice. When our waitress brought out my dinner I said thank you. It tasted good. Then we were done and the waitress came and she brought watermelon for dessert. And that was a special treat. I would like to come back.

Jodie says: I really liked Tsunami. I'm not sure what the service would be like if it was very busy but we came very early for dinner and were among the first few people there.  I ordered edamame and a pumpkin terryaki roll which was not only delicious but also 1/2 off due to happy hour pricing.  I thought the service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly.  I would love to come back.

SteakOut!

Sophia says: Happy Mother's Day Readers! Today for lunch we went to SteakOut. We have never been here before, so we didn't know what to do. The waitress showed us though. She said we needed to get a menu and decide what we wanted, then go up to the counter and tell her. After that, the waitress gave us a number. Ours was 31. I ordered a cheese burger and french fries. There were inside seats and outside seats. We sat outside. The outside seats were very clean and there were no crumbs on the table. The service and food were pretty good. I would come back. My mom picked this place because it was her special day and we were taking her out to lunch.

Josh says: Happy Mothers Day! Today we went to SteakOut because we wanted to take my mom somewhere special. I ordered a little cheeseburger with fries. My burger was so little but it was good. I sat outside and it was a nice day. I would probably come back.

Paul says: The burgers were small (slider size) but the food was good. I had a regular cheeseburger and it was fine. It was pretty clean but not a lot of menu choices. I took my lovely wife here for Mothers Day.

Jodie says: Today was a great day! I got to pick a special restaurant for lunch and I picked SteakOut. It's a pretty simple set up where you order inside at the counter and they bring your food to you. I had the cranberry walnut salad and it was delicious. The kid's burgers were really tiny but they liked them.  I would love to come back.

Gelato Classico Italian Ice Cream!

Sophia says: Tonight we went to Gelato Classico Italian Ice Cream for dessert! We picked this place because it was really hot outside. When we got there we were lucky that there weren't a lot of people because usually it's really crowded.  When we walked inside I looked at all the different flavors. I told the waiter I would like the spumoni flavor. Before he gave it to me he asked if I would like to try it. I said yes and it was okay but I wanted to try something else. So I choose the peanut butter cup. I liked it but it was too peanut buttery. I finally decided on the caramel chocolate flavor. It was really good because it had caramel inside of it and chocolate chips. It's a really cute place but small. The service was very good and we sat outside. I would totally come back!

Josh says: Tonight after dinner we went to an ice cream store. When we got there, we got to pick the ice cream that we wanted. They had a lot to choose from. I picked strawberry. I did not try anything else because I like strawberry. The guy that gave me the ice cream put it on a cone and also gave me a tiny spoon. The service was very very fast. I got to sit outside with my family because it was a hot night. I loved it and I would come back again soon!

Jodie says: Gelato Classico is always crowded and usually has a line out the door. We came a little early and were lucky to not have a long wait at all. The staff is really friendly and when it's not crowded they encourage you to try anything you want to help you decide. But if you are planning on going there they take cash only. It was a special treat for the kids and I would love to come back.
