Welcome to our Blog!

My 10 year old daughter & I created LadyBug Restaurant Reviews to write about the restaurants we eat at from a parent/child perspective. Our ratings are for food, service, presentation, friendly waitstaff and overall experience. We rate on a 1 - 5 ladybug scale, with 5 ladybugs being the highest score. We hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment and give suggestions!

Rainforest Cafe!

Sophia says:  A couple of days ago we went to the Rainforest Cafe! But we couldn't write our review on the exact night because we were at Disneyland. I ordered two mini hot dogs, potato chips and raspberry lemonade. It was crowded and loud! For people who haven't been there, it has a lot of animals hanging around the walls. The gorilla comes alive every 15 minutes. It was not scary. My food was good. The waitress was very nice. If I ever go to Disneyland again I would come back.

Josh says: I had macaroni cheese and bread. Our waitress was nice and a little bit slow. The monkeys were silly and I liked them. It was was a little bit loud and there was this cool elevator and a cool waterfall. I want to come back there.

Paul says: The food was fantastic but I was so hungry anything would have been fantastic. I had the sizzling hot chicken & beef fajitas. The atmosphere was crazy but it fit the theme perfectly.  Its about at magical a restaurant outside the magic kingdom that you are going to find. The rainstorm simulation every half hour was super cool even for a grown up.

Jodie says: Although it was loud and crazy and fun, I found it overpriced but so are all the restaruants in the area.  I ordered the beef burrito which was very good.  This was a special night and a fun experience!

  1. We visited the San Francisco location. My 5 yr. old daughter was terrified when we were seated directly in front of a "live" elephant. After moving to a new seat, we looked above to find a group of large flapping butterflies. I dont recall the rest of the meal as I spent time calming down my daughter outside of the rest. As far as the price...YES-pricey. A great place for older kids though. If you are looking for a good deal on a good meal, then this is not your place.

  2. Hey Josh - I went to the Rainforest Cafe in Phoenix a few years ago. The food was pretty good - I had a Rainforest Burger. I really liked the atmosphere. I also liked seeing all the tropical rainforest animals, and the gift shop was pretty neat.

I am interested to see what other restaurants you suggest! Thanks for sharing your site with me.
