Sophia says: Hi Readers - Happy November! Sorry it's been so long but we have been very busy and have had a crazy month. Today for lunch we went to Big Bites! It used to be Sweet Leaf Cafe and we did a review on that restaurant last year. I guess it went out of business and we saw the new sign for Big Bites. When we got there, we looked at the menu on the wall. It is the kind of restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring you your food. Josh and I ordered a grilled pork noodle bowl to share. They are huge! The food took awhile because everything is freshly done. It reminded of the food at the Asian Box. I liked our food, but I didn't love it because there were too many mint leaves and cilantro. I think we needed to mix everything up a little bit better. There were quite a few people that came in for lunch after us and it has been open for 2 months. In case you are wondering, it is located right next to Dickey's BBQ. The lady at the counter was very nice but I thought she was only person working there because everyone else was in the kitchen. She checked on us one time. Overall, the restaurant wasn't one of my favorites, but I would come back to try something else.

Josh says: Hi Readers! Did you have a good Halloween? I did and I was a ninja! Today for lunch we went to Big Bites. It is new. When we got there, we first ordered and then we got a seat. I had grilled beef with noodles. It was okay because the noodles were a little bit plain. They had chopsticks but I needed a fork. I liked my mom's sandwich the best. The restaurant is nice and warm. The lady that checked on us was nice we had a fun time. Maybe I would come back but not have any salad with my beef.
Jodie says: I know the kids weren't crazy about their lunch but I loved Big Bites! I had the grilled beef sandwich and it was so fresh and delicious. It was so good I ended up sharing it with Sophie & Josh. It came with cucumber, pickled carrots, daikon radish, jalapenos, cilantro and aioli. I'm not a big fan of cilantro but it tasted really good with the sandwich. I also loved the side salad with the fresh dressing. It is self serve style but the woman behind the counter checked on us and everyone else. Their food is organic, locally sourced and most all their packaging is sustainable. They also had an entire coffee menu that I would love to come back to try.
