Hong Kong Bakery!

Sophia says:Today we went to Hong Kong Bakery! I ordered a steamed porkbun, and I ate two shumuis. They both tasted yummy. Hong Kong Bakery is not an ordinary restaurant. You have to order at a counter, and eat outside. The lady that gave us are food was very nice. They also have cookies, cakes, and drinks. It was a great day.

p.s. We also got a pet fish!

Josh says: The food was good. There were nice people in the bakery. I liked my pork bun and it was fluffy. It was a beautiful day outside. 

Jodie says: We have been to Hong Kong Bakery many times.  The kids love it and its a fun place to go for a quick snack or lunch outside.  The owners are always nice and they usually have a line of people waiting to order. Today was a quiet day and I loved being there with the kids.

Amici's - Happy Fathers Day!

We had our first reader request to review Amici's in Mountain View -  here it is!

Sophia says: I loved it. The pink lemonade was delicious. We ordered a pizza.(of course)! It had pepperoni, bacon, black olives, and mushrooms. Our waitress was very nice. It was Fathers Day, and my dad had a great time.

Josh says: The people were nice. I liked the pizza. I loved the restaurant.

Jodie says:  We were seated quickly and the waitress took our order right away.  The pizza was really good (but $$). I loved the thin crust.  I would like to go back and try some of there other entrees and would definitely recommend Amicis to anyone.

Barracuda!

Sophia says:  They gave me a giant lemonade.  I got the potstickers, the chicken nuggets and shrimp tempura.  I liked the potstickers the best. I liked the restaurant, it was nice. The food was good.  The waiter was nice. The food was japanese. I ate everything.

Josh says:  The food is good. I liked the sushi and the chicken.  I loved the lemonade! I wish we had an ice cream for dessert.

Jodie says: I love Barracuda.  The food was excellent and the service was great.  Its located on Castro Street and they have outside seating.  We shared all of the dishes and its a great place for both kids and adults. It was our first time and we will definitely go back.

Pasta ?!

Sophia says: The service was crabby, but the food was good. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs.The meatballs tasted like bacon.  My brother had the macaroni & cheese and I think he liked it.  The bread was served quickly and the waiter was not that great. We went in the evening and it was not really crowded.  I would go there again because sometimes its fun to be there.

Jodie says: We came early in the evening and the bartender took our order.  I had the  portobello mushroom and it was delicious. The service was really slow and we had to ask for plates and more silverware. When we left they had gotten 2 more waiters to help.  Not sure I would go back any time soon.

Josh says: The food was good. The macaroni & cheese was so good that I said thank you in my mind.
The people were nice in the restaurant.
