Welcome to our Blog!

My 10 year old daughter & I created LadyBug Restaurant Reviews to write about the restaurants we eat at from a parent/child perspective. Our ratings are for food, service, presentation, friendly waitstaff and overall experience. We rate on a 1 - 5 ladybug scale, with 5 ladybugs being the highest score. California Cafe!

Sophia says: The waitress was very nice. I ordered mini corn dogs, french fries, fresh fruit, and veggies with ranch dressing and lemonade. I went with my mom, my brother, my grandma, my auntie and my cousin. I had a fun time. The service was very good. The table was set fancy and the chairs were comfy and nice. They also served us mini muffins and yummy bread. For dessert we had a hot lava chocolate cupcake. Everyone had a great time!

Josh says: The cake was delicious and I liked the cookie. I liked the chocolate that was down on the plate. It had ice cream on the plate.

Jodie says: I love this restaurant, the service and wonderful and the food is fantastic.  They have a great bento box menu for the kids and I would recommend it to anyone.

Amarin Thai Cuisine!

Sophia says: It was my mom's birthday. The restaurant was very clean, and pretty. It was very crowded. The service was  horrible. It was horrible because, 1.  It took too long to bring our water. 2. My dad ordered rice and it never came but they still charged us. 3. For dessert we ordered a thai custard pie and on the menu it said it was a pie but it turned out to be a slice! I was disappointed.  The thing that was good was that the food was excellent and I loved my meal and the pie even though it was a slice.  I had the pad thai and lemonade.

Josh says: It was crowded and the waiter didn't give my dad the rice. I loved my dinner and I loved the noodles.

Jodie says: Friday night at 7:30 must be the worst time to go.  Although the food was really good, the service was terrible.  They were too busy and it was too crazy.  We had a good time but not sure if we would come back.

In & Out Burger!

Sophia says: I love this restaurant. It serves burgers, french fries, shakes, and drinks. I had a cheese burger, fries, and a vanilla shake. It was all delicious. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. I have been here before and it is very good.

Josh says:  My hamburger was cheesy and it was the best I've ever had. The milkshake was so good that I told myself in my mind that I should get another one.

Jodie says:  5:00pm on a Monday is the very best time to go - no crowds and we had great service.

New Mongolian BBQ!

Sophia says: Happy 4th of July! Today my family, and I went to Mongolian Beef BBQ. I had a fun time. You get to serve your self, and then the chef grills it right in front of you. It takes about a minute. I had  chowmein, zucchini, chicken, chopped carrots, and baby corn. For dessert, there was vanilla ice cream in a cone. You could have as much as you want.

Josh says: It was the best awesome restaurant and the food was good! The ice cream was awesome because I could make it by myself. The noodles were hot and yummy.

Jodie says: Mongolian Beef was one of the few places open on a holiday and we had a great time.  They charged extra but everything was good and we ate a lot. The service is non existent - you do it all yourself but the kids loved that.  We have been there before and will definitely go back.

Paul says: If you are super hungry this place is for you. If you are moderately hungry you probably don't want a buffet.
